Welcome to our HR Seminar!

Hire safely from abroad – make sure your candidate has the right qualifications!

The U.S. Embassy, together with ANSA (Association of Norwegian Students Abroad) and AmCham Norway (The American Chamber of Commerce) welcomes you to a seminar for Human Resources (HR) practitioners on international qualifications. We aim to highlight the skillsets of young Norwegians with international experience and to lay a foundation that will make it easier for companies and organizations to find the competencies and qualifications they are looking for in an employee. The seminar seeks to create a platform where ideas and experiences of best practice can be shared.

Vibeke Hammer Madsen, CEO, Virke, Glenn Menkin, HR Director, DNB, Marianne Aasen, member of the Storting Standing Committee on Education, Research and Church Affairs, and Dilek Ayhan, State Secretary, Ministry of Trade, Industry and Fisheries will engage in a panel discussion on the topic of international experience in the job market.

In addition, Experis will present the current trends in the employment market, and NOKUT will address how to speed up the evaluation process.

We primarily invite HR executives and advisors from Norwegian and foreign owned businesses and organizations in Norway, but anyone interested in the topic is welcome to join.
