The United States has announced a new global air travel policy prioritizing public health and protecting U.S. citizens, residents, and visitors. Effective November 8, all foreign nationals traveling to the United States must be fully vaccinated and provide CDC-accepted proof of their vaccination status before boarding a U.S.-bound aircraft (with very restricted exceptions).
To further strengthen protections, all unvaccinated travelers – whether U.S. citizens, legal permanent residents, or the small number of excepted foreign nationals – will now need to test within one (1) day of departure. All fully vaccinated travelers must continue to show a pre-departure negative test taken within three (3) days of departure to the United States prior to boarding.
