The U.S. Embassy Oslo, provides the following Pre-Solicitation Notice regarding the issuance of a Request for Proposal (RFP) for:

Installation of Exterior Lighting

The U.S. Embassy Oslo, Norway, is soliciting for a contractor for the installation of exterior lighting.

The successful offeror shall provide complete construction services, contract coordination, and

supervision, including but not limited to the management and construction necessary to meet the

Statement of Work (SOW) requirements of the installation of Exterior Lighting within the established timeframe, furnishing all labor, material, equipment, hand tools, transportation, safety equipment and services required to complete the exterior lighting installation.  All the work must be performed in accordance with Norwegian Electrical Codes, NEK 400.

Offerors are invited to attend a Pre-Proposal Conference and Site Visit, to be tentatively held on Friday, June 30, at the US Embassy Oslo, actual time shall be provided in the solicitation document.

The estimated magnitude for the entire project is between $25,000.00 and $100,000 U.S. dollars.

(Note: FAR range determinations provide relatively wide ranges only in order to give potential offerors a very general orientation. However, the specified range is not meant to give any indication as to the Independent Government Cost Estimate for this project, which could be at the lower or the upper end of the range indicated).

Qualified companies interested in the solicitation shall express their interest by written correspondence to the attention OsloProcurement@state.gov no later than June 21, 2023, at 16:00 local time using the solicitation number 19N06023Q0017 in the subject line.

Do not telephone.  All requests for a copy of the solicitation MUST include the following information: registered in the SAM (System for Award Management) Database https://www.sam.gov prior to submitting an offer pursuant to FAR provision 52.204-7. Therefore, prospective offerors are encouraged to register prior to the submittal of quotations/proposals. Name of Firm, hold a Unique Entity Identifier, Name of Contact Person, Telephone Number and Email Address of Point of Contact as well as the Firm’s Complete Physical and Mailing Addresses.

Firms shall be knowledgeable in written and spoken English and possess all appropriate permits and licenses to perform services in Norway. The solicitation package will only be available in the English language.

The U.S. Embassy Oslo, Norway provides the following Solicitation Notice regarding the issuance of a Request for Quotation (RFQ)) for:

Janitorial Services for the U.S. Embassy Compound, Oslo, Norway.

The Embassy of the United States in Norway has launched the solicitation on the SAM.gov website.

The anticipated performance period is for a base year, with four one-year option periods, if exercised by the Government. All responsible sources may submit a quotation, which will be considered.

The Government may award the contract based on the initial offer without discussion. The resultant contract will be a firm fixed price type contract.

The Government is planning a pre-quotation conference and the date for this conference will be in the solicitation.

All contractors must be registered in the SAM (System for Award Management) Database https://www.sam.gov  prior to submitting an offer pursuant to FAR provision 52.204-7. Therefore, prospective offerors are encouraged to register prior to the submittal of quotations/proposals.

April 3, 2023 – Request for Quotation (RFQ) 19N06023Q0015: Mail Delivery Service To Embassy From Airport

The Embassy of the United States of America in Oslo intends to issue a request for quotation (RFQ) for qualified contractors to pick up diplomatic pouch and mail at the Oslo International Airport, deliver it to the American Embassy (Morgedalsvegen 36, Oslo), and take outbound diplomatic pouch and mail from the Embassy back to the airport.  The service is needed year-round, 4 days per week.

The issuance of the solicitation package is anticipated to be on Monday  April 24, 2023. The due date and time for this RFQ is on Wednesday June 21, 2023 @ 16:00 pm.

Bidders must register in the System for Award Management (SAM) prior to submission. Registration information is available in www.sam.gov.
As registration may be a lengthy process, interested bidders should initiate the registration as soon as possible. The resultant SAM number must be provided with the proposal submission.

The U.S. Government intends to award a contract that is the most advantageous to the Government, price and other factors considered. We intend to award a contract based on initial bids, without holding discussions, although we may hold discussions with companies in the comparison range if there is a need to do so.
