The U.S. Department of State’s Bureau of Educational and Cultural Affairs (ECA) and the U.S. Embassy in Oslo are pleased to announce the Global Alumni Engagement Innovation Fund (AEIF) 2020 Competition. AEIF supports teams of alumni with grants from USD $5,000 up to USD $25,000 for public service projects that promote shared values and innovative solutions to global challenges. For this year, AEIF intends to provide resources for alumni projects around the world to advance women’s and girl’s safety and their meaningful participation in peace and security processes. Eligibility: In order to be eligible for the AEIF competition, proposals must be submitted by a team comprised of at least two (2) alumni of United States Government sponsored exchange programs. Alumni who are U.S. citizens may be part of the team, however, there must be at least two non-U.S. citizen alumni on the project team. All project activities must take place outside of the United States and its territories.
