Prior to completing Arabic language training ahead of his assignment to Saudi Arabia, Adam spent a year as a Staff Assistant to the U.S. Ambassador to Afghanistan in Kabul.  Before Kabul, Adam was the Political and Economic Chief in Valletta, Malta.  Adam has also served as both a consular and political/economic officer in Guayaquil, Ecuador and London.
